Beautiful Afhgans. Someday I may learn to make one. I did knit about 5 scarfs last year a dear friend taught me, I gave then to the homeless because they weren't perfect to give as a gift. Did you forget I want an apron? Norma

Aww, that's no fair! You can check up on me anytime and see when I'm slacking off. (notice I said when, not if ;-)

No, I did not forget that you wanted an apron. I'm making one for a friend and am making yours at the same time. With no fancy promises or raising of hands or frothy dairy products with artificially flavored and colored fruit on top, simply a "let your yes be yes and your no be no" I will not give the other apron to my friend until yours is safely in the mail on its way to you!

Oh, and thank you so much for the birthday card. I LOVE the little snail. Very cute and just my style (since I'm a bit slow on most things). You're a great sister-in-law and I want to be like you when I grow up. Is there anyone's birthday you ever forget? Just once?

Love to you and hugs back from the children -

Karen T.

I too love the afghan you made for your mil! I also love the teal color surrounding your scrap afghan. Funny that I don't have that color in my decorating because it is really one of my favorite colors. Hmmm...maybe when I redo my room it would make a good accent...or maybe my next quilt...you've got me thinking! Have a great day! Karen T.

love these..and yes it does make the colors pop.
